To: Mr. Arafat regarding his claim to the land of Israel

"Now Abraham gave all he had to Isaac; but to the sons of his concubines, Abraham gave gifts while he was still living, and sent them away from his son Isaac eastward, to the land of the east." Genesis 25:5 & 6

Speaking to Isaak God said: "Sojourn in this land and I will be with you and bless you, for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath which I swore to your father Abraham." Genesis 26:3

"See, I have placed the land before you; go in and posess the land...................."Deuteronomy 1:8
God does not change, nor do his covenants. Although since the renting of the veil the path to Him is through Jesus, the ultimate sacrifice.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem

Good morning.
I was riding my bicycle through the village. I made a wrong turn and was in a residential neighborhood riding leisurely along when a little girl came up beside and wanted to play with the microphone protruding out of my shirt pocket. It was like the mikes to the karaoke machines.
She imagined she was an announcer and had a great time. What a wonderful child, she was able to use her imagination to take her to another place, another reality.
When we got to the corner she gave me back the microphone since she was not allowed past the end of the street.
Two fellows in a pick up truck were watching us closely but when we parted, they drove away. Nice town, they were protecting the little girl.
I stopped and asked directions since I was obviously lost.
The fellow pointed to the nearby mountain. My destination is on the other side, he told me.
The lights of the houses on the side of the mountain glittered in the twilight.
Me, ride this bike over that mountain? I thought.
What is that sound? An alarm clock! 5:AM. Time to get up and face another day.
For once I was glad to hear that alarm; I did not want to ride a bicycle bicycle over that mountain.

A person who can speak many languages is not necessarily more valuable than a person who can listen in only one.

This is a true account of an incident that occurred in the life of my friend for forty six years and his wife, March 18, 2002. (Last Monday)
The two of them were vacationing in Franklin North Carolina: She said: "Let's take a ride."
As he drove them along they approached a road they had not traveled before and turned onto it.
The road wound it's way up the mountain. At it's end they were treated to a spectacular view of the valley below and the city in the distance.
An old Chinese Proverb reads: "Married couples who love each other tell each other a thousand things without talking."
Sometimes there is no need for conversation. Just being with the person one loves is enough.
That is how it was as they drove back down the mountain.
About a hundred yards from the turn they would make, a shaft of light appeared. The light seemed to have substance. So much so that he tried to feel it but could not.
She said: "I think I'm going to pass out."
"Stay with me" he said as he reached out and took hold of her hand.
A moment later she was unconsious and he said to himself; "I've got to get her to the hospital."
At that exact instant the light retracted and he realized she was gone.

Good Bye, Pat.
We will all miss you.

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Just go to the mirror and look at yourself
And see what that man has to say.
For it isn't your father or mother or wife
Whose judgement upon you must pass.
The fellow whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.

You may be like Jack Horner and chisel a plum
And think you're a wonderful guy.
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.

He's the fellow to please--never mind all the rest,
For he's with you clear to the end.
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
If the man in the glass is your friend.

You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass.
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you've cheated the man in the glass.
